drawwhatyoudream asked: SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) was rated number three in top animation schools in North America :) Ringling was 2nd, I believe. I've heard great things about both. I, myself, have been accepted into SCAD and I plan on going there next year for animation.

If you don't know what aspect of the animation process to focus on though, a generalist program where you can learn a little of everything is a good way to...

whatjewsay asked: I mean, it's my Alma Mater, and i'm only a designer, but I've seen a lot of good animation come out of Northeastern Univ (believe it or not). They've had a lot of co-ops with Buck animation. But a lot of the work is mostly 3D stuff. Based in Maya. But people can turn it into whatever they want.

littledigits asked: Great way to respond to that ' opposite style ' question. The magic of Glen Keanes art isint necessarily in the style of it , its the life behind it. He has a way of capturing such vibrant personalities and makes them come to life...you can learn that regardless of what style you have :)

Steve Thompson: Glen Keane visit →
stevethompson-art: Normally the holidays are quiet at work for most people. But not for us. We’re actually very busy this time of year with everything that will be in stores next year for Christmas. It was amazing to take a break and talk to someone I have admired growing up and working for Disney all these years. I…
