drawwhatyoudream asked: SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) was rated number three in top animation schools in North America :) Ringling was 2nd, I believe. I've heard great things about both. I, myself, have been accepted into SCAD and I plan on going there next year for animation.
thearetical asked: In regard to schools, for someone who knows they want to actually animate and doesnt want to spend four years learning other skills they'll never use, I highly recommend looking into Animation Mentor or AnimSchool. If you don't know what aspect of the animation process to focus on though, a generalist program where you can learn a little of everything is a good way to...
whatjewsay asked: I mean, it's my Alma Mater, and i'm only a designer, but I've seen a lot of good animation come out of Northeastern Univ (believe it or not). They've had a lot of co-ops with Buck animation. But a lot of the work is mostly 3D stuff. Based in Maya. But people can turn it into whatever they want.

littledigits asked: Great way to respond to that ' opposite style ' question. The magic of Glen Keanes art isint necessarily in the style of it , its the life behind it. He has a way of capturing such vibrant personalities and makes them come to life...you can learn that regardless of what style you have :)
