Acclaimed animator Glen Keane unveiled a first look at his latest and most personal project to date, Duet, as part of a special Advanced Technology and Projects session at the Google I/O Conference in San Francisco.

Presented together with Regina Dugan, who leads the ATAP group, Glen gave a live demonstration and talk through the creative process behind Duet.” - http://www.animationmagazine.net/features/glen-keane-debuts-short-duet/

Keane has been working with Google’s technical team to create an interactive animated film, dubbed Duet, for mobile platforms. Duet is scheduled to be released later this year.

"One day we hope to have a new type of film festival… one that is mobile," Dugan said.

Keane added, “I see myself as an artist first. Fortunately, everything I’ve animated has tested me in learning something new. In embracing this new technology, I feel like I’ve rediscovered a love for animation.” -http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9249402/Google_looks_into_a_future_with_3D_tablets_interactive_animation
